Privacy Policy
This policy describes how the TailorFlow mobile app handles information. It is written in plain language and is not legal advice. If you need formal counsel, consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
Who this applies to
TailorFlow is a business tool for tailoring shops. Shop owners and staff use the app to manage their business. Customer data (names, phone numbers, measurements, orders, and payments) is entered by the shop about its own customers.
The shop using the app is responsible for telling its customers what data it collects and why. We provide the software; each shop decides what to record.
Data the app can store
Depending on how you use the app, this may include:
- Customer identity: name and optional phone number
- Measurements and notes: body measurements and free-text notes linked to a customer
- Orders: style or title, fabric notes, due dates, status
- Payments: amounts and dates related to orders
- Account data (optional): email or phone and password if you sign in for cloud backup
- Feedback you send us: bug reports, ideas, or ratings you choose to submit from the app
Where data is stored
Data is stored on your device first (offline-first). If you enable cloud backup and sign in, a copy may sync to our database provider (Supabase) over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
How data is used
- To run the shop: customers, orders, balances, and reminders
- To open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message when you tap send (we do not send messages automatically)
- To back up and sync your data when cloud sync is configured
- To improve the product when you voluntarily send feedback
- To diagnose crashes if error reporting (e.g. Sentry) is enabled in your build
We do not sell customer lists from your shop to advertisers.
Sharing with others
- WhatsApp / phone apps: only when you choose to message a customer
- Cloud host (Supabase): if sync is on — subject to their terms and security practices
- Crash reporting (Sentry): only if enabled in your app build; may include device and app version metadata
- Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect rights and safety
Security
We use industry-standard transport encryption for network calls. Cloud data should be protected with row-level access rules so one shop cannot read another shop’s rows. You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure.
How long we keep data
Data on your device remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Cloud copies remain until you delete them or ask us to help remove your account data, subject to reasonable backup retention by our providers.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Shop owners can:
- Edit or delete customers, measurements, orders, and payments in the app
- Turn off cloud sync by signing out or not configuring Supabase
- Contact us for help with account or cloud data requests

Children
The app is intended for business use by adults running a shop. It is not directed at children under 16.
International use
The app may be used in different countries. We aim to respect applicable privacy laws (including Nigeria’s NDPR where it applies). If you use the app outside Nigeria, local laws may also apply to you and your customers.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
